Dr. Wright to Speak at AMMG’s Fall Conference, Nov. 7-10
Dr. Wright will at the November 7-10, 2019 Age Management Medicine Group (AMMG) Fall Conference in Tucson, Arizona. His topic will be "Treatments for Hyperthyroidism,; rT3 and Hypothyroidism; TSH, Treat the Patient not the Lab Result". The lecture explores the use of lithium and iodine for Hyperthyroidism, with detailed case examples including supplementation amounts, testing, and recommendations until resolution of condition. The next segment of the lecture discusses the relationship of rT3 with toxic metals and how to recognize the problem. The final section deals with TSH, investigating whether TSH should be relied on as an indication of thyroid function. More details are available at the conference website.
