Dr. Mi-Jung Lee, ND, OMD, LAC
Dr. Mi-Jung Lee was drawn to the legacy of Drs. Jonathan Wright, Joe Pizzorno, Davis Lamson and Alan Gaby in the evidence-based natural medicine. As an integrative medical practitioner trained in both western and eastern medicine, she incorporates traditional Asian medicine and restorative acupuncture along with natural and conventional medicine to optimize your health.
As an experienced anti-aging practitioner and researcher, Dr. Lee utilizes not only functional medical testing to personalize each patient’s anti-aging program but also traditional diagnostic methods such as tongue, pulse and body constitution. As a result, your treatment plan as a patient will be effectively integrated with diet and nutrition, herbs and formulas, vitamins and minerals, hormones, and acupuncture. Currently, she is incorporating functional-genetic-based-preventive medicine for healthy aging and cardiovascular health. Also experienced in esthetic medicine, she is capable of delivering Intravascular Injection Therapy, Mesotherapy, laser therapy and cosmetic acupuncture for wrinkles, scars and hair loss for women and men.
Prior to joining Tahoma Clinic in 2012, Dr. Lee practiced in Los Angeles, California for 5 years with psychiatrist and internist, helping professionals suffering with mental disorders from depression and anxiety to ADHD with naturopathic medicine and acupuncture. She also assisted patients with concerns related to menopause and andropause, and helped seniors enhance their health and vigor with Asian tonic medicines passed down to her from her herbalist mother and midwife grandmother in Korea. Dr. Lee has presented internationally at numerous conferences in the USA and South Korea.
A native to Seoul, Korea, Dr. Lee has a genuine passion for, and finds her life calling through, helping people of all ages and backgrounds to restore their health. She serves as a board member of Korean-American Healthcare Professional Association.
Dr. Lee is fluent in Korean, English and speaks Spanish and enjoys outdoors pursuits such as hiking, sailing, rollerblading, biking, swimming and skiing. She volunteers for Seattle Symphony, Alternative Healthcare Access Campaign, and Center for Wooden Boat as a crew and skipper for Sunday Public Sail.
